My sorcerer is currentl lvl 3 and when I open its spellbook it says that I have 6/6 slots available, but I have only 3 spells known. What's the deal with these slots?

Probably that you can cast 6 spell/day, and that you have all of those left.

The "slots" show how many spells you can cast in a day and how many you got left.
