I'm looking for an experienced map maker to take the raw images, and make BG2 maps out of them.. These cities will be the initial foundation of the mod.
So, does anyone want to make their own city which will - eventually - become a cornerstone of a new world?

I'll take the lack of enthusiasm as a no. I thought getting to build a new city would catch someone's eye.. oh well. I'll be making a different. inquiry in a month or so..So, does anyone want to make their own city which will - eventually - become a cornerstone of a new world?
I was hoping to get the community involved.

But, considering I am a newbe and am currently tearing my hair out attempting to make a decent NPC, the field really isn't open to me is it? I suspect it would require a lot of BAMS and area creation and scripting.
I am fluent in all but three of those areas.
I am in the odd position to be able to devote nearly four days out of seven a week to my hobbies, but am only getting started and not sure what I am doing. On the other hand, if ya want to TEACH me and take the time, after I know how, I'm your bi*ch...
Minotaur In Maze "October" NPC in the works. (I hope)
They say the world is going to Hell.
They are wrong.
The world IS Hell! Always has been, always will be; except perhaps for the five percent or so of the population who can afford differently.
And, if one must reside in Hell, it is far better to do it as a minion of the Devil than as a member of the damned.

Creating areas is, from my experience, a time-consuming business.

That's normally the case. Alot of the ppl here are knee deep in projects. I learned a while ago that taking a tone like that here at leasts gets people talking.Lack of response doesn't always mean lack of interest - it can also be lack of time, as in my case.

There map areas adapted from Diablo2. I have two complete. Getting working on the wallgroups, impassable blocks light/hight maps etc will slow me down drastically, which is why I'm looking for help.. unfortunately I cant render images. I need to find a 3d persome who can a 3d artist with some spectacular castles has given me permission to use their work in modding.. but the cruddy freeware software I have can't handle the task.. but I suppose that's another story. You've got me curious and mildly interested How many renders do you have ready for conversion?

I'll be mapping most of the day, kids permitting.
