I dont know if it is a bug but in the final mission i have a return to window with the following message:
"bgmain caused an error in unknown " and each time i can't finish the mod :(
( WMe 384 Mo) even if i put a minimal configuration ( I have the last drivers etc...and i have the patch no CD... ( explanation ?))

In addition...

-Pas de texte apparaissant dans le journal lorsque'une mission est terminée, d'ailleurs à part l'XP recu aucun message meme dans la console. ( simplement, vous avez perdu un objet (scalp))
-Pas de retour a la forme humanoide à la mission 4 après le voyage en pseudo dragon ( mais il suffit simplement  de changer 1 variable).
-Mission 3 ( décor de brynlaw), certains ennemis ont comme nom "pécheur.

I may not be able to offer you more help than I did on "La couronne de cuivre". :P
However maybe someone else could confirm the problem or provide a workaround ? Anyway, I'll have a look at this issue.
Did you try with the unpatched exe file ?

"Pas de texte dans le journal" : this is not a bug but a feature (© Microsoft).
There is no text in the game for the end of each mission. As there are different possibilities (completing or not secondary goals for instance), that would mean a certain number of them. Would you suggest some texts to include in the next update ? ;)

"Pas de retour à la forme humanoïde": this is a know bug, although a lot of people do not experience it. I'll see what I can do.

"Certains ennemis ont comme nom pécheur": I'll check this (are you refering to the mispelling (pêcheur) ?).

First of all.. i would want to tell you: i ONLY have theses 4 "problems" in this mod( excellent choice to have translated it and have improved it)

1)for the first ( personal cause noone seems to have it )

Did you try with the unpatched exe file

I haven't do that, because we cannot uninstall this patch.... :bash: ...and if i try with "baldur" i haven't Epic, just soa and tob...
But i am thinking i can replace this bgmain patched with a bgmain no patched of my multi install , i will verify...

Would you suggest some texts to include in the next update

-In fact the problem is just for the thirteen mission ( mission before the last), the end is very hard cause of snipers at the end of he bridge. And the "porte drapeau " stay on the bridge when i come back with the teleport and he dies whereas the mission consists to bring it living close to the exit :wacko: . Thus i don't know if i managed the mission ( and in fact even if he dies ( i know he dies because of the fight continues in the console) i received Xp ( 150.000 for each menber after the teleportation.
( it is a minor problem )
For some texts in the next update i understand the problem ( 13 *2 = 26 texts) but just a simple text:
the prime objective is achieved
the second objective is achieved

4)i think it is a dialog error or maybe a feature to "complicate" ? or perhaps i had injuried a "pécheur" before meeting it ? ( it is a very minor bug if it is a bug...)

To conclude ( except my personal problem ) nothing is really disturbing in this mod.

Yes, just get the BGMain.exe from your main installation and insert the CD when requested ;)

I'll think about it. It shouldn't be difficult to add, just at the time when you get the XP. I assume it would also be a good idea to add some initial journal entry when you start the mission too.

Other bugs : I'm interested in save games, just before they occur, if you have any.

I just completed the first mission, but when I teleport back, it just shows my party standing there and doesn't give me my cursor or the control panels on the bottom/sides.

Did you get any XP for comleting the mission yet ? It shall come in 3 steps (depending on the number of objectives you managed to accomplish).
Could you tell me your game configuration (SoA or ToB, official patch or not, ...) ?

i have SoA and patch ver.23037. i didnt get any xp yet- just got teleported to lava like room and my parties standing there like somethings gonna happen but doesnt. like in the intro to bg2- when yr in a cage and things r going on but u cant do anything.

Thanks for the information. As the mod was made with BG2 only, I did not expect any specific trouble due to not having ToB (I tested on ToB).
Would you be so kind to send me a save game made just before returning from mission (or the autosave if it's done when using the scroll to come back) ? Just use the following address : "isaya_ie at hotmail dot com" (remove spaces and replace at and dot with the proper character). Thanks.
Do you get any XP when you get back ?

Could you also confirm if you're using a wireless keyboard ? I remember reading some people were having issues with the panels due to the tools coming with the keyboard. Although the fact you get the problem at a very specific moment does not fit well with this hypothesis, it's worth checking.

during the test of the italian version of ee I've found a nice bug!

do you remember quest n° 4, the one in which your personages are pseudo dragons?

well... my personages remain pseudo dragon, and so I can't finish that quest.

another small bug is the first area, where there are still the old map notes of bg2: soa

During mission 4, changing back to normal shall happen on the map similar to outside of the de'Arnise keep (AR1304), not far from the note called "Drop off point". When you arrive there from AR1901, still in pseudo-dragon shape, you should appear in the camp (where the captain was outside of de'Arnise keep) and immediatly change back to normal.
For the change to occur the variable ChgBak should be set to 1 at that point. If it's not, set it to 1. As at least some people do not encounter (or complain about) this problem, I suppose this variable is sometimes set properly though I couldn't find where it would be set ot 1 in this quest. This may be the cause.

I've found other two bugs...

there is still an info region of the original bg2 in the quest of wizard who teleport himself to three points.

I can cast spell and create ogres when I'm in the sky as a pseudo dragon :)

The summoned creatures issue is known. In the readme of Elhoe, the original author, there is a mention of the problem with the summoned creatures in the sky areas. He write that he tried something but he could manage to make it work. I didn't even try to fix this (yet ?). I'm not sure I can do better.

The notes from Epic were not correct in the first WeiDU version. I just fixed that. I didn't do anything about the other notes (thinking they were kept for a reason) but I might improve this in the future.

an idea to solve the fly ogre could be to disable the spell cast button and write as reason something like:

"When you fly on the pseudo-dragon you have to cling firmly to the creature to avoid to fall. You can let go of the grip only for few istants, just for the time to shoot an arrow or to drink a potion but not enough to cast a spell that also need a particular concentration."

however there will be still the problem of the little statue (for example the one that create a spider), but it can be solved through a script.

In mission 4 after I land in the citadel my party is still like pseudo dragons, I saw that this mission is doomed into this bug and I teleported myself home. After that my party was still like pseudo dragons.
I am with french installation of BG2 and an english installation of EE.
HELP!

As stated in this message, you need to go back to the castle area and set the variable "ChgBak" to 1:
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("ChgBak","GLOBAL",1)

If you teleported back with the console, use the same console command to go back to AR1304.
If you used the scroll, I'm afraid you have to go back to an older save game, before you started the mission.

I removed that anoying polymorph effect with good ole SK. Problem is that even if you CluaConsole author's variable time effect for polimorph is still set to 36 and half- dozen zeroes. Oh, and there are no experience points for secondary objective completed ( like in the pirates mission ). Bug or purpose?
