I've made it all the way through BG1 and TOSC without any problems. However, I've totally cleared out the 1st level of Irenicus' Dungeon and can't use the portal to get to the next level. I have the portal key, but it keeps giving me the message that "a force won't let me near the portal". I've tried the CLUA console move to area command but it won't work. Do the area names have different names in this mod? If anyone has any ideas please help me out.

Have you done the quests on the 1st level? If not, its about them.

I have done the quests, except the dueger(sp?) w/ the acorns escaped into a mouse hole and I can't seem to find him. The dryads still gave me the genie bottle and I freed the djinn. I've freed all of my companions, and talked to all the trapped people in the bottles.

I think you installed it with the wrong version of Never Ending Journey. Vlad had that portal alteration in the 's' or 'Stand alone' version of NEJ.

I would do a reinstall. While you can change a variable or two to get you past this problem, there are other differences between the versions of the mod. Not the least of which is the dialogs and the animations. Doublecheck which version you have/installed before doing something so drastic however!

It looks like you were right. I did a reinstall and it fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.
