Wanted to throw out a few thoughts. They may be contrary to the designer's intent, but what the heck, the worst thing CB can do is say "no," right?
First, the Intro. I really liked it...the first few times. By now it's quite tedious. Any chance a "short-cut" could be implemented? Even if it means giving up some or all of the special abilities?
Second...any chance of a broadening of quest availability? What if they're linked to Stronghold possession, so if a player really wants to do EVERYTHING, he has the opportunity to do those quests? Or, so long as there is a member of the target class in party, the special quest becomes available? Doesn't help much with the Barbarian quest, but at least the barbarian might get the mage, druid, and bard quests if he keeps Nalia, Cernd, and Haer'dalis around....
BTW, Ceeb, you'll be pleased to know (well, maybe) last time I tried a BP-NeJ-CtB mix, I got successfully through all NeJ content without any of the CTD bugs, or weird graphics issues that plagued me last year. Had issues later on, primarily with the worldmap, but I understand someone's working on that. (If they need any help, I'd be happy to pitch in....)

I doubt he will. However, if someone wants to code up a mod on the theme of "Dungeon Be Gone" for the beginning of Check the Bodies, I'm sure there will be both a learning experience involved as well as a fanbase.

CB has been asked this before. He really likes the fact that there are a lot of Class-specific quests to do. Some people want to be able to do it all with a single character, some don't. CB (and myself for that matter) seem to prefer the latter in the interest of RolePlay.

Good news to many wondering how well they work together in the current incarnations. We'll see if anyone generates the promised, new worldmaps. If they're stuck, maybe they'll take you up on your offer. :thumb:

Nope, I'll never be doing that.
broadening of quest availability?
Nope, I won't be doing that either. In an unmodded, Bioware/interplay game, you can only get one stronghold and the quests for that stronghold. That's how it will be for CtB.
Besides, some of the quests (like the class super-quests) "overlap": the same sequences happen but in a different order or requirements.
primarily with the worldmap,
As far as I know, this is the ONLY major hurdle left since we've successfully "weidu'd" areas. It still remains on my To-Do list, which hasn't really changed much since I lost TeamBG, but hopefully I'll be able to figure something out in the coming weeks or months.

Thanks!guestmike, Sleep and then go back. They seem to show up at different times. Worked for me.
Where can you sleep? It won't let me sleep in Candlekeep, and sleeping outside results in guards waking me up (how rude!). The inn would be an option, except that it's locked.... hmmm... maybe the barracks? I'll try that when I get home.

any other ideas? Maybe I'll go back to an old saved game and rest before talking to Gorion.

I agree from the RP perspective that your class x main character should not be able to do class y quests. However, I don't understand why other members of your party that do be class y should not be able to do those class y quests, be able to gain those class y strongholds.CB has been asked this before.
