I am trying to help in me one way.
We have three Version's.
And this is not a rubber & One size dos not fite all. :D
Some people thank if it seas bp then it is compatible.
So we need not one but three list

In the BP install V1.61G it sead Imoen-v12Full.rar & ImoenPatch-v1201.rar
may be installed.

But i read that BP+BGT used up all of lines for sound.
Or was that BP+BGT+NEJ ?

So here we go

FOR The Big Pictuer V1.61G you can install
Imoen-v12Full.rar
ImoenPatch-v1201.rar

For The Big Pictuer Trilogy do you instll
Imoen-v12Full.rar or Imoen-v12(NoMusic).rar or not Compatible
ImoenPatch-v1201.rar
Not Compatible

For The Big Pictuer Trilogy Neverending Journey
Imoen-v12(NoMusic).rar or not Compatible
ImoenPatch-v1201.rar
Not Compatible

Ho and befour i forget i wont to thank all you mod & patch maker's :thumb:

ok, although it might not seem to make sense, the presence of music/ audio in a mod doesn't mean that it adds to the song list (songlist.2da).

if, like imoen and chloe, the audio files sit in the override folder as wav files and are called (ie played) by scripts, then you can have as much music as you want. the problem with Longer Road is that it doesn't add music this way, it *does* add the music to the song list. so, unfortunately, does BGT - BGT in fact fills every available place on the song list; LR want to add a song to a maxed out list so... crash badness.

Mods like imoen, chloe, kelsey, etc which use sound as wav files can be installed to one's heart's content without worrying about the song list being maxed out in the way it is with BGT and LR.

so: whether you install music or no-music imoen as part of a BP, BP-BGT, BP-NEJ or BP-BGT-NEJ install is a matter of personal preference.

Is it possible to remove any songs from the BP/BGT/NEJ songlist, and add them to the override folder? If so, that would create some more space.

No. It is just as the name describes, a list of songs. The music files themselves are in the override or music directories. Deleting a file off the list would open that slot for another file, but it then can't be played unless you script it somewhere. Most of the music on the list is background music when you are in different areas, battles, etc.

With the different pieces of music in BG 1 and 2, it isn't hard to fill up the slots. A possible solution may be to play the same music in more areas and remove the music file already used. An example would be to have every tavern sound the same. <_< Not a great solution, but it would free up slots.

You say most. Is there not a single song that could be scripted? (Just looking for possibilities here, sorry if I seem to be repeating myself. )

It would actually be easier to script the music in. Just have it start when you enter the area.

Yep, the music in Imoen's Romance is really touching. When Imoen pop up in my main character's dream, my heart melted when I hear the musics while reading over Imoen's dialogs. At that moment, really hope to quickly go and save her.

Keep up the good mod....., I means work.

Possible to do what? Script the music? Sure. Just something that can be added to the area script. However, are you asking for someone to remove some of the songs off the list to make room? I am not planning on messing with it. I didn't add any more music in my mods. I am kicking around the idea in the next one. But I will just script it into the area files so I can avoid the whole mess.
