heh. that would be the rolf sureblade fix that's included in v2: and it works, cos i've even tested this one: took a while for me to get the tp2 right, of course....

The part u dont "get" is that the MAIN problem is not with the door not opening...besides I got past that with ctrl-j.And I had the 1st v2 patch before becoming chief lieutenant meaning a lot before from going to Rolf's castle. The problem is that sureblade is nowhere and he isnt considered dead in the game variables obviously...
And no I dont have an autosave since it autosaved when I tried changing floor to follow sureblade when I cluaed him...yes it seems that if I clua CBROLFSB in the same place I killed him (with the army) he says :
Men!Attack! locks some doors and goes to next floor...but then he stops and I cant talk to him nor kill him...(actually after 7 fingers of death he died) gave 28k xp but I still couln't free the prisoners...

Btw trying to clua CBRSSOUB teleports me to ribald lol...

-Yes it is the problem, normally there are 3 fights against him and with the two first normally to kill him is a bug because ( i think ..) there is a variable which considers that he is dead ( logic..) .... but another variable maybe indicates that RS isn't dead because the player didn't fight him the second or the third time ( logic too....: the story isn't finished ) ;)

I had exactly the same problem. ( but i don't know if the patch correct this problem which is NOT the same to kill RS at the second level and the door stay closed )
And it is very "easy" to kill him OR to stop him ( hold, web... cause he hasn't any space enough to escape from the room)
I think the main problem is to manage to kill/stop RS the first time...( a teleportation at near death, could perhaps resolve the problem ?( like bohdi chapter 3))

yes. the patch *does* fix the problem of rolf not being considered dead if you kill him quickly, as well as the door not opening. <_<

re: the teleport before death. he already has one of them - adding a second will hardly fix the problem of the first one not working fast enough to save him.

on the other hand, you could add a check so that if he *does* die, the door opens and the CBPARTYHASKILLEDALLBANDITS variable advances as intended. i chose this latter option.

Just checked it with the new v2 beta patch! I cluaed again rolf and this time i killed him (though he didnt go hostile or go anywhere this time) and the prisoners at last got freed!!! Thanks to seanas once again...:)
Became mayor of soubar, at last rolf was considered dead...

PS : By the way I found an item-specific bug.(not serious)
In Rolf's castle I found a Lyral's Plate Armor.
Ac=-1, 50 resistance to physical dmg, +4ac versus slashing, 33%decrease in number of attacks.
So despite the great armor it has a disadvantage.Logical.
But I tried wearing it with 2 characters.Instead of losing attacks they got 33resistance to magical damage!! So no disadvantage due to a bug!!

-Sorry Seanas, at this moment i can't test/verify your patch cause i have a big problem with my pc and i haven't got a lot of time ( and in november i go in hell) thus... i can only confirm radagast's bug that i have had :) without your patch...
Thanks for your precisions about it :)
