ok guys, here we are. doing chores for candlekeep, first day went without a hitch, chose to learn dispel magic.
second day came along, completed the chores, went to play with imoen. found her, she chased me round until we were at the place where she suggests hide and seek, then nothing, both characters just stood there and all the HUD bars stayed hidden. waited a good 20 mins, left pc, it stayed there.
help?

Yeah, that happened to me also, luckily I had a quick save right before the whole playing tag sequence and I loaded it up, and that time it worked. Sometimes that happens. You kind of just have to try a reload at this point.

I remember reading somewhere, that when the search path is too short, this can happen. To configure this, start the BGII Config program. Somewhere there is a search path / nr of nodes setting (I'm typing this without having access to BGII now), that should be at least 400000. If set too small, Imoen can't find you, because the distance between you and Imoen becomes too far.
