Hello to every Torment player!
After playing IWD 1,2 - BG 1,2 - NWN for more than 4 years I decided to start a Planescape:Torment game.
I am playing it for more than a week now and I am really dissapointed that some of its unique characteristics like the <live> portraits, the charisma-intelligence-wisdom impact on the game's development or the excellent journal, not to mention the detail of the characters and the entire environment plus the excellent interaction interface between the PC and his companions were not implimented in the BG 2 series.
It is also a pity that Torment's sales were not high enough to justify a sequel based on an improved version of its Infinity Engine just as it happened in the case of BG 1.
Nevertheless I have to ask if it is possible to play Torment in a higher resolution . I have tested its windowed mode having set my desktop in 800x600 but Torment's window is smaller than the desktop, with the maximizing button inactive.
So Big question, is it possible to enlarge the playing window in desktop size or
does anyone know a way to play Torment in full screen at 800x600 or higher?
I am sure that a way must exist as the Tutu team already has proved for BG1.
Time to return to the Planescape:Torment realm,
Happy gaming to everyone!

Tutu makes BG1 playable in higher resolutions by moving all the files into the BG2 engine.
The only way to make PST playable at higher resolutions would be something similar - move the files into another engine.
AFAIK, no-one is currently working on this.

Might also add, that there is noone that seems even the slightest interested in atempting that either, considering planescape torment is the most difficult of all the Infinity games to convert.
unfortunatelly.
But even how cool it might have been playing PST with the IWD2 engine for 3rd ed rules and whatnot, i dont think it would really give much to the game. PST is all about the storytelling and charater personalities. Personally i did not miss the 800*600, never really did. Only ever used it in Baldurs Gate 2 anyways, since the character graphics looks so horiblein that game anyways.

Well, moving PST will be impossible, because it is so much different.
You should pray for a miracle.
