Hello,
I'm encountering a similar issue in my current game. I have only installed BP, the bg2 fixpack, and the widescreen mod.
So here's the deal : I don't get any messages telling me to drop my stuff, and, well... I don't drop it.
I've tried downloading the files mentionned in this topic but all the links are dead.
I'm loving the mod so far and would really like to go forward with this naked-in-spellhold thing, so, any idea what I can do to fix the issue ?

Wow, severe thread necromancy. Is it just a warning msg you're worried about, or is there a bug that's breaking the game (making it unplayable)?
Ok, I'm looking at the scripts right now in an editor. I see the part where it tells you to go get your goods, the exact message being "We only have a couple minutes' time to grab our gear. We should move quickly" and it opens 2 doors (Door06, Door08). Gives you 185 seconds before the battle gets underway automatically... That's at the end, however.
Whatever seanas had done in 2004, at the beginning? --seems to have been left out of the mod officially. Sorry, it's been so long since I made a game to Spellhold, literally years--I'll have to get there before I can see it for myself and be actually helpful. That's what 6 yrs of mod retirement can do to a mod. This was also designed for a pre-weidu BP, when it had a lot of mods hard-welded into it but you couldn't just add whatever on top (i.e. totally controlled environment). If you have just BP and Fixpack, you shouldn't lose items too much (I think).
