I have a bug due to this deathbinger bowstring. Cromwell will just check on this item in my inventory. There is no option to ask him to check whether can upgrade the standard SOA items and also items from the upgrade mod.
I removed the bowstring from my inventory and talked to Cromwell again and everything is fine.

What mod is this from if you dont mind me asking? I dont remember seeing it Weimer Upgrade or Ruad item list.

I have no idea. This is the first time I played Ruad, Munch and Weimer upgrade plus other mods with items uograde at one go.

i think it s from dark ritual, that is hard wired into bp. and yes the situation with this item is known (to me). to let cromwell work correct remove the item ask him to get the other items upgraded.

dark ritual isn't part of BP.
i've got dark ritual installed (in a BP-NEJ install) and have never seen that bowstring - unless it is part of the improved guarded rune, improved harpers or improved unseeing eye parts of dark ritual, none of which i've ever had installed.
at any rate, yes the string seems to make cromwell not work correctly. no, it is not a problem BP can fix as it's not a part of BP.

ohh sorry ashes on my head. it is munch mod that has this xbow.
