Sir Billy Bob, in the upper right hand quadrent of the cloakwood mine area, I ran into "The Arch Druid" and duked it out. Is he part of Dsotsc? It was a great fight, but I was wondering if he had some other part to play. It didnt seem I could avoid having to fight him though.

I checked this out, because after I killed him he didnt drop anything which I thought was a bit weird. Turns out he is from Dsotsc and Im pretty sure the items he is carrying are invalid, because they are missing the DS prefix. Maybe you already fixed that, but thought I would point it out.

Too bad I dont have a Druid in my party. This mod gives a sick amount of powerful items for druids (and I guess rangers as well). On second thought, I think you would have a seriously over powered druid, especially with the items the arch druid drops here and the stuff dropped by the shadow druids (arch-druid and lackies).

Also, you might have a bugged dialog for this cre, because I noticed that he would attack regardless of the response option selected. From looking at the bcs, I think (although, Im not sure I fully understand the dialog flow) that one of the options should allow you to avoid combat.

The dialog file doesn't give you any options but to fight. I don't know if that was intentional or just a limitation of the designers. Maybe Hlid remembers the history of that actor. The new 1.0 has the fixed items. I have fixed his inventory several times, and I kept copying the wrong CRE file for some reason. So the new 1.0 version should be correct this time (I think).

One of the things that I really like about DSotSC is the items for classes that didn't have much with a regular BG1 game. Druids and Rangers get some really cool stuff. As do mages. However, if you notice, the really good stuff is limited to single-class. Dual-class normally only got the less powerful items.

For the next cleanup of the game, I think the rebalancing of items needs to be done. However, the easy way to do this is to see what CoM comes up with for their version for BG1/Tutu. To make the mods closer aligned, I figured I should adjust these items to match what they do (that and the fact that I am too damn lazy to do it).

I do have one spell to resolve. There is a Globe of Darkness TDD spell (level 7 I think) and the DSotSC Globe spell is level 2. So right now, you have the ability to learn the same spell as two different levels. I guess the DSotSC version, being level 2 needs to be a Lesser Globe type of spell or give the enemy a better save against.
