I thought there was a hat for thieves for sale in the shop of silance?

I hadn't noticed that store (yes, it should have a hat). I did notice that the Friendly Arm Inn didn't have the gnome leather armor in this last game. And the wizard outside of Beregost didn't have any new items either. However, the Temple of Lathander did have all of it's new items. So I don't know why some worked and some didn't. Right now I am copying new STO (store) files into the game. For the next major release, I want to have Weidu install the items into the existing stores. I think that is a better solution but I don't think it will fix your issue.

That store is STOSILEN which is in the DSotSC\ITM folder. Could you match up the file against your override folder to see if it did copy over the file like it should have? If so, that means I didn't put the right store into the package. If they are different, I need to figure out why the TP2 file didn't install that store.

The 2 files are the same size.

I just finished a fresh install of everything. So far, the FRIEND.STO (Friendly Arm Inn) shows the gnome armor in the file, but it doesn't display when talking to the innkeeper. Lathander temple is fine. Other temples are showing their new items also. High Hedge isn't showing any new items either. The dialogs start the proper stores, so I haven't figured it out yet. If you get the chance, check some of the temples in the city to see if they have the holy water potions and holy water bullets. Also, are they willing to buy from you now? For some reason, BGT doesn't have most shops purchasing from you, but I changed that in some places becuase DSotSC did have those stores purchase (at a very low rate though).

In BG the temple of Helm no new stuff and can't sell, the lady luck new stuff and can't sell, no store at shrine of ilmater.
