I was just wondering.... I have been playing morrowind (with both expansions) for a while now, I have killed several monsters and done many quests, but my character is still level 1 and the progress is 0/10. Is this a bug or is there something I didn't do?

Have any of your main skills raised? (I.e the ones you selected at the start, such as long sword, shield, or whatever you chose) Thats what the 0/10 means, once you raise one of your main skills one level it ill go to 1/10, raise another one or the same one again and it will go to 2/10, im sure you can work it out by now
