Heh, that one is a definite bug, I think Baldurdash would be a better place to discuss it. For now, Refinements concentrates on REFINING things or adding some extra flavor to the game here and there. Vanilla bugfixes are out of the scope.

Well, we do some bugfixing here and there (though the Spell Shield fix of the current release is buggier than the original spell, sorry... as you may know, it's really fixed in V2).
The shapeshifting fix component is also a fix, of course.

Anyway, bugfixing is not our primary concern.
Also, I heard the stutter bug is caused by NPC mods?

Stutter bugs generally occur when a creature's script tells it to do something it can't; for example call a dialogue when no states in the DLG are valid.

So it can happen with anything with a script, really. Not just NPC mods.

Also -as I heard- having any regeneration effects on a character while transformed into Drows by Adalon causes this problems as well.

Maybe... I've just completed the Underdark, and my character had a ring of regeneration equipped the whole time - and I might have experienced the 'stutter bug' once - but it didn't last long.

Yep, it has been pointed out several times in the past that regeneration effects might cause a bug while under the effects of avatar change.

Simply add Valen to the party, or equip the Sanchuudoku katana (obtainable from Kuroisan - Tactics) while you are using the drow avatars. That will get you this nice little bug easily.

Sanchuudoku didn't ause me any problems the whole time and it's main my main char's main weapon.
