Now that 'Northern Tales of the Sword Coast' is in english when are you going to add it to BP-BGT-DSotSC? I know you are working on BoneHill part 2 right now, just trying to put ideas into your head. And what about Harden Coonors' AREA 1010 (2nd basement of the ice island with the Magiergefaengnis) link

Harden Cooner's site says this is a 1.0 beta (that is about the only thing I can read - haven't touched German in about 15 years). Is there an English translation? It doesn't say. Also, isn't this a Tutu mod? So it would have to be converted to BGT including the removal of new music (depending on how they add it). Would the author be willing to allow me to convert it to BGT?

As for NTotSC, I thought this was still in Polish only. Got a link?

Hlid, if you are out there, what is normally the policy for converting projects that are still new and getting their own support? DSotSC was a no-brainer since TeamBG wasn't supporting it. Tutu mods can be converted over (as Hlid did for the BG1NPC mod) but who provides support? And what if the author doesn't want you to do it (for whatever reason).

Tired of Bhaal? Try some classics mods instead:

SBB,

I used this google page to translate it to english and was thinking that mainly just adding the second level to the island. I think it would be nice if you asked Harden and the polish guys first. :D

I was reading your posts at vlads site and it got me thinking about what you need to plan for on your map.

The ice island doesn't effect the map (at least a second level wouldn't) but yes, the other mod probably does. Now that I have a link, I will take a look at it. Thanks for letting me know about the NSotSC, I heard about this months ago but thought no one was converting it to English. Cool.

The HardenCooner mod really has only the IceIsland expansion that can be added to BGT. The worldmap's a no-go, and in his own words the changes to the music to make "for future transition mods like BGT" which is redundant in BGT. *heh* The IceIsland bit would only take about 20 minutes to convert. (Looks at the clock... Yep, just under 20 minutes. :shifty: )
As for permission, I've always either talked to the modders directly or dredged up something long, long abandoned. Support has either been the modder (In the case of where I just coverted the installation for someone, although I lend tech support afterwards.) or left in the lap of myself. If an author doesn't want it done, it just gets converted for my own personal use. I respect their wishes and don't distribute it. :crying:
