Many, many mods can be found here:
http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/There is no real mods that I would suggest, the ones that you use depend on how you like to play the game. Some mods, however, I would consider necessary, these are mostly graphical so if your computer doesnt run morrowind well I wouldnt reccomend some of these:
NPC Replacer / World of faces (These replace the
NPC's heads with much better ones)
Better Bodies (Replaces the bodies of the
NPC/your character with much better ones)
Windowlights (Makes lights shine in house windows at night)
Atmoshperic sound effects (Replaces and adds many atmospheric sounds)
Complete morrowind (Adds the ability to do lots of things, such as making armour, making posons, carpetnry, making projectiles, sewing, pottery and probably more which I cant think of currently)
Gardeners of morrowind (Adds and changes trees in certain areas, this is still being made and is planned to revamp the entire island)
Visual Pack /
Visual Pack Nature (Changes most of the in-game textures for higher resolution, better-looking ones. Only use this if morrowind runs well on your computer as it will slow it down a lot)
These are the only ones that spring to mind at the moment, and the ones which I didnt link to can probably be found at morrowind summit (the first link.) For the most parts mods are all compatable, unless they change the same thing.
