I obtained the V150 .tp2 file from the front page of the home site for CTB

I ran it and received the following errors

[checkbod/scripts/ctb/WESTBRDG.baf] parsed

[override/bag02i.STO] PARSE ERROR at line 1 column 0-7

syntax error

Any ideas? I looked at the first BAF i.e. [checkbod/scripts/ctb/WESTBRDG.baf] and columns 0-7 look OK although they have a UNIX like [CR] not [CRLF] delimiters.

Whenever you get "parsing errors" regarding files that aren't actually "Parsed", like .sto, .ids, .wav, etc, don't worry about it. It's just weidu "farting" and won't mess up the install.

Regarding the script parsing (aptp2BLD.BAF), both the proper script command and .tra entry (# 550171) appear in the correct files. I'm not sure why you would have gotten that error.
Play SoS! And then play CtB!

I have repeated my install as advised in this thread

The final error about aptp2BLD.BAF has reoccurred.

Extending game scripts ...
[checkbod/scripts/append/aptp2BLD.BAF] loaded, 43827 bytes
ERROR: No translation provided for @550171

[checkbod/scripts/append/aptp2BLD.BAF]  ERROR at line 991 column 32-38

The .baf exists, the string 550171 is refered to in a "AddJournalEntry(@550171,QUEST_DONE)" statement.

Where do I look for the string resolution please? (Or maybe I should redownload the files from the net.!

I think I've encountered the exact same problem. It may have something to do with the way I downloaded the revised .tp2 file for CTB... it was stored as a .txt file and I just renamed the extension to fix it.

This was a CTB install on a completely fresh BG2/TOB install with NO other modifications except the official TOB patch.

After scanning the debug log, I see that I did not get the 'aptp2BLD' error, only the parsing errors related to 'STORV1.0'.

Mine should work OK, then?

According to CBisson's reply, yours should work, allthough you state in your previous reply that you have installed the Bioware Patch. I believe that Baldurdash for ToB is also required.

Same problem here, but I also get another one...could it be that I am installing this over BP-BGT-NeJ+S&H4?

rbbO0300.bcs exists where it belongs, so really don't know what is going on here

EDIT: Sorry and thanks Sir BillyBob for pointing that typo out. I have changed it now so as to not confuse people

I don't have my build with CtB installed anymore so I can't help on the error but I don't remember seeing anything other than parse errors when installing on BGT-BP-NeJ as long as you extracted the two files into the override that Weidu is looking for (which is why I created that batch file to prep your game for CtB). I had built my test game using the S&H 3 patch, so maybe the issue is in a change between patches? When I get some diskspace free again, I will build out another CtB game and see what errors I get.

As a side, your comment states "rbbo300.bcs" but the screen capture is for "rbbo0300.bcs" was that just a typo?

the 'can't find matching block' refers not to the existence of rbbo0300.bcs, but to the existence of a specific block of code within rbbo0300.bcs. if WeiDU can't find it, then chances are it's alreay been patched. the s_and_h patch makes no alterations to any CtB files, so it won't be the s_and_h that's fixed it already.
