Hello,

I´m playing the SOS part of the BP mod and i have obtained the quest to calm the drunken farmers from Triel in Soubars pub. However i do not get the manacles to chain them down from my superiors when being given that quest.


Anyone had that problem too ???

you don't get the manacles? try going back outside into the town and finding the sergeant (i think it's the sergeant - it might be the corporal). or go back into the barracks, talk to the captain (he'll tell you get on with the job, or something similar), then go back outside.

SoS makes heavy use of Global variables, some of which can take some time to set - so if you sprint across the town to get to the pub where the brawl will be, the variables may well not be set. SoS can be a bit fragile in this regard - if you've got a save from immeidately prior to being given the brawl task, load that and try again (this is why it is a very good idea to have lots of saves when in SoS - in case a global doesn't set properly); otherwise go back and talk with the captain as i described above.

you could CLUA in the manacles you need, but i've found that when this happens to me, *at some point* the corporal/sergeant comes up to me and gives me 10 more manacles, so you may as well try to get him to appear before you resort to the CLUA function.
