You can never have enough mods with giants. ;)

Perhaps, but with the same storyline?

As a side, what we do need is more animations of giants. I could use a female giants and storm/hill giants. I guess the Verbeeg(?) giant in IWD would work for hill giant.

Giant animations shouldn't be too hard, since they're just oversized muscular humanoids. Of course, the trick is finding someone willing to put the time in to make the animations.

Hey; I'm planning an Underdark expansion, not an entire gygax remake. Giant series would be nice, but I don't think they would fit the existing BG2 plot. If you're familiar with the D1-2 modules, they can be easily added on to the existing UD without the G1-3 background. I wouldn't bother with much of D3, Vault of the Drow, because BG2 already has a drow city. What I'm proposing is a longer journey, through a few extra boards, to get to the existing UD board. After sahuagin, before drow city...

My real plans for the giant series involved the ToEE engine, but that is another tale altogether... :P

SirBillyBob--for your plans, think about an oversized ogre animation (1.5x). Or, better yet---convert an NWN giant to the Bg2 engine. It's not impossible, just time-consuming. It requires 3DSMax v5 to do so, but I already have some lighting boards & planes for this purpose (borrowed from MaxTeamBG's pig). I started making a dragon-fiend model from NWN for BG2, and it worked in-game--so I know it can be done.

Hell I think that the half-ogres should just become the default ogre animations (they are not supposed to be THAT much bigger than humans) and make the ogre animations that of hill, and with a stoneskin effect, stone giants.

3DMax??? I can't do this in MS-Paint  ? Way out of my realm. That stuff turns this into work not fun.

If you're making new animations, Poser might actually be a better choice. There's a lot that Poser can't do on its own, but if the animations are humanoid you can play around with proportions until it looks right.

Yeah, I've been playing around with Poser v5. I expect to be putting a few animations into my projects in the future. It's sweet.

I'm still wondering if I can morph a bird into a vulture and graft on some arms. Well, I know it can be done, I'm just wondering if I can do it. ;)

Modders/artists with at least a casual knowledge of the Drow series by Gary Gygax a big plus. I'm thinking along the lines of a PnP remake.  :whistling:

A Plug and Play expansion, interesting.. :w00t: :P

And how about a semiorc animation? I'm tired of recollect orc avatars to play with human animations....disgusting, i suppose it's the reason cause there are not Orc joinable NPC's
