I think you get an hour or something. (Can't recall.) If you have cheats enabled, tap ctrl t once, that advances the game clock by an hour.

If I keep all the items in one of the containers just outside Asylum main entrance, will the items lost?

No, but you'll have to wait until you can leave the asylum to get them back. Try a container within the first area.

I've a question as well. I got wardstone from Perth the Adept and proceeded to Asylum, but when I entered inside nothing happened. Absolutely. I tryed to smash both locked doors, leave and reenter Asylum, wait for several hours (ctrl t)... Nothing changed - I was alone in Asylum's hall and none was willing to appear and give me a tour. Should it be so? What should I do?

I tried Desharik and he sent me inside, so it is possible to play further, but I prefer to go there myself.

Though there is a strange thing as well... I suppose that my gear should be taken, but nothing happened. I've already took Imoen in party, but all equipment is still with me.

Well, took me a year later than you GeN1e to get there but I too had both problems you reported.

First one is due to the wardstone missing when your party comes thru the front door. It's getting gobbled just before reaching the front door of Spellhold building (yes, I tested and confirmed this) - but I can't find which script or else is doing it - so the script doesn't fire the encounters.

Solution: CLUA in 'misc8v', wait a moment, then "The Coordinator" should appear.

Me too, my party's gear was not taken by Lonk, either when we went in via using the wardstone, or by having the Pirate Lord send us there. This is actually a good thing, because I can stash my gear inside Spellhold instead of outside.

I cannot even find where Lonk is supposed to take the stuff (I'm using BPv176) - I remember in earlier BP versions he had text saying he's stashing it. Anyone know where I can find this?
EDIT: so this morning I played the early Spellhold encounter, and now there's a short cutscene where you gear is taken and locked up.
Hmmm. I don't like it.
SUGGESTION TO BP DEVELOPERS: Gameplaying-wise, bring back Lonk's role. That's what he's there for.

I'm not sure why the feature is not working.

A side issue:

I discovered that although this block was satisfied

BP_HardRoad still got set to '2' (I'm using the_bigg's Tweaks which uses the RTWMyDifficulty variable).

n00bie question: does it matter that "global" is lowercase?

Workaround: once inside Spellhold, set BP_HardRoad to '1'

-- I don't remember which earlier BP version it was, but this "worked" before v176.
-- Workarounds - I just posted.
-- If you go thru the front door then stash your gear in the barrel outside the door.
- If going via Pirate Lord, you will have time to stash gear inside Spellhold; do it before taking to the other inmates. I just dropped my stuff on the floor.
