Hello again! :) I have my own party created for Baldur's Gate. This was before I found out about Bg1 TuTu. Can I use them without problem if I import them after installing Bg1 TuTu ? Among them, there are a bard and a paladin...Can I give them a kit ? Thanks!

SOA will import any CHR file from BG2 or BG1. The only problem may be if you use a kit that is not in the new game you are playing. A standard kit should work fine.

I messed up things up there in my first post! :D Obviously I meant to ask if it's possible to assign a kit to my already made character using BP-BGT!!! (not BG1 TuTu)...Sorry for the confusion! :D

You can't change the class of the character you import from within the game, but you can change it using NI or DLTCEP. Either way, it doesn't matter if you use BGT-BP or Tutu. The kit has to exist first though, so BGT-BP would give you more kit options.

Heck, you can change the kits with Shadowkeeper if you want to. The only problem with SK is that it doesn't always apply all the effects that a kit is supposed to get, so sometimes you have ot apply them manually. Fortunately, SK lists what effects it adds, so you can compare that to the appropriate 2da file for the kit.

I usually change the kits in NI, set HPs to 1 and level to 0, and then level up to get appropriate effects. Sometimes I get double stuff but if you started from a trueclass you shouldn't have too much problems. -_- (maybe you'd want to remove the extra HP, but one HP isn't that much in SOA; it will come in effect once at most)

Yeah, that's more thorough. I just pointed out SK because it's fairly easy to do. :)

Thanks for your replies. I had hoped to use no extra tools. You see, I had created my bunch of 6 character in BG 1 but I have never played through the game with them. They're level 1 with 0 xp. I just hoped though that by importing them to start a new game with BP-BGT, I'd be given the choice of selecting a kit for those of the 6 characters that have actually right for it (a Paladin, a Bard, a dual class Figher/Thief...). :D
