I've heard alot of people complain about how slow Kotor 2's loading is.

I was reading Electronic Gamer awhile ago, and there was an interview with Kotors makers.

One guy said that the reason for a slow loading rate (about the same as Kotor 1's) is that they improved the system, but then added more stuff to the areas, making it kind of equal out to what it was like with Kotor 1.

Anyone think the games loading takes forever?

I don't, but then, I've got myself a pretty decent computer. I haven't had any problems related with crashes or slow stuff or anything except a few CTD's. No lagging - and I'm even running on 1280x1024@75 and has all graphic-settings maxed.

yes its bloody slow and in fact its about the same as KOTOR 1 which is bad. I could grab a drink and take a bite or two at my sandwich each time the thing save and load an area. Quite annoying but I'll get over it.

Play the computer version ;) Loads in about 5 seconds on my computer
Forward he cried from the rear
And the front rank died
And the general sat and the lines on the map
Moved from side to side.

Anyway, yes, no problems with PC. A few crashes here and there, but if you save often, it shouldn't be a problem. :)

Loads decently even on my old comp, although I've experienced some irritating crashes.

I guess I better buy the PC versions next time, plus I can dl mods for PC versions too. For now, I'm stuck with the angonishing slow loading which's getting on my nerves.

Everything loads in less than 5 seconds for me :S. (PC)

Though .. for no reason known to me I started lagging crazy on dantoine ! I can't even move properly. I lag for 3 seconds et sprint at hyperspeed the rest of the way. It is higly unplesant. I can't play now ... (I had no lag what so ever before ..)
