Didn't we conclude that 4E is NFBRES like the Baldur's Gate novels?

That we did, none the less Cyric and Shar are still loosely affiliated so there will probably hostile feelings between Shar and Bane. Just not in a state of oprn war like 'World of DnD'

I've no idea what "NFBRES" stands for, but if you mean information from 4th Edition shouldn't count simply because a bunch of people don't like it, then we should also discount information from 3rd Edition, because there are a LOT of players who don't like that, too. Heck, there are a reasonably large number of people who dislike 2nd Edition, so I guess we're stuck with 1st Edition sources when discussing the Realms. So, no discussing of anything that occurs from 1358 and onwards, please! :P

Non-Fanonical By Reason of Extreme Suckage.

"Tyranny is a quiet thing at first, a prim and proper lady pursing her lips and shaking her head disapprovingly, asking, well what were you doing (wearing that dress, walking home at that hour, expressing those inappropriate thoughts) anyway? It's subtle and insidious, disguised as reasonable precautions which become more and more oppressive over time, until our lives are defined by the things we must avoid. She's easy enough to agree with, after all, she's only trying to help -- and yet she's one of the most dangerous influences we face, because if she prevails, it puts the raping, robbing, axe-wielding madmen of the world in complete control. Eventually they'll barely need to wield a thing, all they'll have to do is leer menacingly and we fall all over ourselves trying to placate them." -godlizard
