Everything is ready. Unfortunately I´ve lost some of the RoT files when the computer was broken (formats were necessary) so I´m going to have to download the mod myself first. I´ll take about 2 hour test ride and see if it´s working properly. Then I´ll write a readme and the mod is ready to be released. I´d like to release it for a selected group of people first who can play it a week and start reporting bugs so that no nasty surprises will be waiting when the mod is released to public.

I don´t remeber who volunteered to test it back in December so anyone can do it. You´ll just have to download the mod and play it a little. If anything comes up, just report to me (I´ll create a thread for that later).



If nothing special comes up, the mod will be out 1.4.2005 (three years after it´s creating started).


Thank´s for all those involved in making an installer and getting the mod to work on all computers! Especially theWizard and Wiskas! :thumb:

I´ve now installed the mod and everything is almost OK. If no beta-testers have volunteered before saturday, the mod will be released on sunday to public. We´ll just have to hope there are no nasty must-start-a-new-game bugs waiting.

OK, one beta-tester has reported so at least he is going to test the mod. I´ll let you know when it is ready for download.

It is April Fool's Day. Although, it's not an official holiday. I assure you, the release of RoT is not a joke, but some of the beta testers are still giving it a quick run through, so I'd say the mod should be released any day now. Perhaps not precisely today (April 1), but some time very soon.

I always tend to forget the meaning of this day...Anyway, I´ll give the beta-tester(s) a few more days to play so release won´t be happening today. I think that monday would be good.


P.S. The working of the uninstaller is unknown so could somebody test that too (I wouldn´t like to download the whole mod again )?
