I've been playing RoT for a second and It plays really fine, but I do have a few questions:
Isn't the Westchar quest a bit hard, to be available at the very beginning? I mean, damn that guy was strong.
Wasn't Drizzt supposed to be Chaotic Good instead of Lawful? At least, thatīs what I read in the manuals.
Last question.
Iīve been hanging around chapter 2 for a while and doing some quest, but RoT doesnīt develope or progress. Do you need to play the original story to make progress or am I missing something?

Actually the Westchar quest shouldnīt be available at the beginning. Thatīs probably a bug. 
About Drizztīs alignment...I donīt know about those things so much. It is probably a mistake I made early on and forgot to correct later.
Hint about progress:
If you havenīt yet got yourself to Arlax, I suggest visiting the Slums.
