okay, simple problem really when I try to use this (after installing Weidu Nej and the BGT prep) it keeps telling me there is no CD in the drive, over and over and over again (i went through the install and it asked a few hundred times) if i put any of the CDs into the drive it then tells me that there was an error on the Weidu screen but keeps going. It finishes and seems to work okay, but was annoying, anyway when playing it the game crashes randomly (not a huge problem really) but more importantly if i get caught by guards stealing the text appears then the game crashes and if i try to go to the area next to the Gnoll stronghold (the area to the left of it) the game used to crash in loading, i tried reinstalling it and adding the basilisk anims etc. and i can now get into the area (odd as there is no basilisk from what i recall) but it then comes up with the combat music and crashes.... if i go to the area above that where the half-ogers are the game also crashes...  :crying:

1) You must read BGTReadme.html/Requirements section and make sure that you have all required components installed.
2) You must not have any BG2 CD in your CD-ROM drive while installing BGT-WeiDU.
3) As you had so many errors during the installation it seems impossible for the game to run correctly. You have to reinstall the mod (or everything...).

Hi Blindhamster, make sure you have a *FULL* install of Baldur's Gate 1 and Tales of the Sword Coast. Then run the game at least once to make sure it's configured correctly.

Make sure that there is no BGII cd in the drive and the installation should run fine.

full installs of both games plus expansions and patches done, NeJ installed+its fix, ran BG1:TotSC once to make sure its configured, same with BG2, removed CD, now about to run the BGT prep, all fine so far, comes up with detected Nej backing up override....
comes up with 2947 file(s) copied goes onto extracting creatures from Baldur's Gate:TotSC and then gives me a windows error (the one with a red circle witha cross in it) this says WeiDU.exe-No Disk i can cancel, try again or continue its this same error i had before and if i continue i keep on getting it

Try with the TotSC disk in the drive. I remember an older version needed to have TotSC disk in the drive to work. I hope this helps, because I never gotten an error message before.

No you don't need that big download any more. :D It's very strange because I never have any problems installing BGT-Weidu V0.94. If the problem persists my best advice would be to download it again and see if it solves the problem. Sorry I can't give you any more advice.

What is a version of WeiDU.exe which is in your game folder? Just run it and look what it says.... It should be 175. If not - delete it from there (if one exists)after NeJ and before BGT installation.
