Im almost finished the game, honest! :^^:

Trouble is, there seems to be a bug in the Sith academy on Korriban. Ive cleared the place out, found the dead Jedi Master (Vash) and such, but the exit door is still locked. I'm guessing there is some sort of encounter that is supopsed to happen on the way out - Im guessing with Darth Sion because you see him when you enter and I havent seen him since, but it doesnt happen
Short of loading my auto-save (which is about 2 hours earlier when I entered the Ebon Hawk before flying to Korriban) I was wondering if there was any way I could escape this bug?

Your supposed to run down the hall to the right to get to the center room, as you have guessed, you get a short run in with Darth Sion.

Have you tried downloading the new patch?

Search Master Vash's corpse to find her datapad. She has the code to unlock the door. Insert Vash's datapad into the computer console right there in the torture chamber, and then run back towards the exit. You'll bump into Sion and his goons, but after a brief fight, you will be able to exit the Academy.

Figured he alrady did that and that is was a bug...

It's been a few weeks since I last played KotOR 2 but AFAIK the datapad from Vash is THE way to escape from the Academy... Did you try reading it?

read the data pad, and now you get the option of using "lorna vash" as the code...this opens door.

Nope, I read the data pad and tried the computer, it said that I required root access or something, but no option to input Lorna Vash. Regardless I loaded my save and Im past that part now and I think it may have been because I didnt go to the library to read the stuff for that test first, I just guessed my way through it
Now I've beaten that bad guy with the mask (whose name I dont believe Ive ever been told) and Im now on that wierd green planet for which I have been offered no explaination...

Have you seen Sion on Korriban yet? Once you fight him, you can flee from him and get out of the Academy.

No, you misunderstand me. I didnt get into the fight with Sion, so I loaded a previous save and got past that part. Ive finished the game now
