Razor doesn´t die because he talks with Randall before his death. Randall must be alive and in line of sight that Razor can talk with him when he is lying on the ground near death.

So, uhh, this quest is finished as soon as Randall and Razor talk? I was waiting to see "Razor - Death" in my dialogue window so that I could loot his body. :D

Yeah, well, I never got this ending running 100% smoothly. That would´ve been the easier way (just to let him die) but Bruno (the guy who designed Randall and his quest) wanted the talk.

Anyway, if you encounter some problems in the ending of this quest, it may be enough just to play it again. If I remeber correctly I´ve had bugs even in the latest version of the mod where Razor doesn´t fall on the ground at all (just keeps fighting) and bugs where he falls but doesn´t speak. But in most cases the ending should run as it is supposed to.

The ending worked, as planned, I think. I knocked Razor down and made sure Randall was nearby. Razor interacted with Randall, and then Razor's dialogue tapered off. He never actually dies; he just lies on the ground in "Near Death" state with a red circle around him, even after he speaks with Randall. At least that's how it played out in my game. :)

If that's how it's supposed to end, then cool. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything like a note on his dead body or something else.

Well, he´s supposed to die after the dialog but there´s nothing lost if he doesn´t. ;)

I found similar problems and in order to progress and still get as much as possible from the original contents I did the following

ACTION_IF FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME ~ra5701.are~ THEN BEGIN
EXTEND_TOP
~ra5701.BCS~ ~[attachment=24743:ra5701repair.baf]~
COMPILE ~[attachment=24742:RazorSan.d]~
END

I did not bother to kill Razor after he had done his part to progress the quest, that is for the author to do if he7she wants.
