Mmmmmmmm k. It seems you guys deal w/ questions like this alot. so. here i go.
I installed BG1 & TOTSC, and patched (Ran to config/test)
Installed BG2 &TOB, Patched (also ran to config/test)
Grabbed the BGT_MK3_112 Installer, applied it to my BGII - ToB Directory.
All went fine, i have the BGT3 Folder, the EXP thing came up, applied that to my Exe. added the force dialogue pause=1 and the debug and cheats into my INI.
At this point i figured i'd installed it correctly, and started a new BG2 game by running my XP-Patched BGmain, but, started off in Irenicus' Dungeon, then came here, saw the thread a bit below about not starting in candlekeep, and applied the BGTMenu's that Gekker suggested(tried first one, didnt work, so i put the second on.), but still continued starting in Irenicus' Dungeon.
From my understanding, I have followed the instructions for BGT correctly,
I just want to get the Trilogy working so I can play a character from BG1 to the end of ToB cause i havent been through the entire Bhaalspawn saga due to format's and losing savegames like a billion times, and never getting around to finishing the games.
If it helps, I am using, uh, "Backup Copies" of BG1, ToTsc, and ToB. I have the BG2 Cd's though.
I also read that i was supposed to load a multiplayer savegame to start a BG1 Multiplayer game or something, but this save file never shows up in the engine. (I am refering to the Multiplayer save in the MPsave folder in the BGT3 folder)
Iduno if anybody can help me, if not, just point me to a good install guide for BGT only... i dont wanna worry about NEJ BP etc. etc. etc. until i get a chance to play through the regular bhaalspawn saga.
