i started off a shapeshifting character after installing the full BP-BGT-NEJ using hlidskialf's guide, with DTOSC and NTOSC then worldamp v3 added afterwards

the problem arose when i attempted to shapeshift, instead of automatically transforming into a werewolf, the character didnt change, when i checked the inventory i found a wolf paw in my items, when i equipped it the character then transformed, the major differences being i can change back and forth on a whim, can cast spells and can keep the tranformation for as long as i want (due to the fact the transormation is being treated like an item)

i like the shapeshifter druid, but i dont like this bizzare bug, as it makes my character into a one person spellcasting-fighting all-in-one killing machine; which kind of spoils the game :/ has anyone had this issue and/or figured out how to correct it

It's not a bug, it's a component you installed from the Ease of Use mod. Specifically, Component 20: Shapeshifter Rebalancing.

Actually, the shapeshifter rebalance is a component of BP+BGT. I didn't install ease of use, but I still have it. I can't say about bg2, but in bg1 it makes the game a cake walk. I was messing around with it and managed to kill everyone in Candlekeep with it at first level except Gorion. He is immortal I think. Solo druid might be possible.

Oh, and the journal entries appear under the journal section if you are playing bg1. They don't show up in the quest section.

That's news to me. It very well could be true (I haven't played a shapeshifter.) but I don't recall that being in the documentation either. Perhaps it's Horred's version of it. *shrug*
