First a little introduction from myself.

I'v emailed several magazines in the BENELUX with the question if they wanted to do a special about the mods that where released for BG2. Every mod they mentioned was about FPS but never about RPG. That bugged me alot since I hardly play FPS games. Anyway, I never got a reply and I was already writing a new email asking for the same again. Then I recieved PC-Zone and went to the mod section. The first mod they mentioned was TDD. On the next page.... Return to Windspear Hills O.o Wooohoo!!! B) Anyway, this is the translation of the article they've written:

"Unfortunatly I havent finished BG2 but from what i've seen it appears to be fantastic. After many hours the gamers arent satisfied. They want MORE. Now there is a MOD that has a lot to offer, a whole lot. It's called "Return To Windspear Hills" and from the looks of it it appears to be very professional. The people behind the MOD wanted to enhanche the RPG aspect. They didnt like the fact that all quests are spoiled by the plot. They also didnt found it logical to find NON- magical weapons near creatures that are completly immune to magical weapons or vampire stakes in a vampire lair. Ever the choices of Good, Neutral, Evil are changed to Good and Evil only."

"The MOD begins where you ended the orignal Windspear Hills plot. A messenger from Order of The Radiant Heart arives and gives you a letter. Depending on what you did in your previous visit in Windsper Hill you'll recieve a letter for the "Good" ending or (if you gave Firkraag the Deed) an "Evil" letter.
The creators of the MOD decided that most of the people ended Windspear Hills as a "Good" character thus you will recieve the "good" letter. If you did Windspear Hills "Evil" then you'll recieve a different letter.

If you're good the Garran will ask you for help because after the destruction of Firkraag there is a void and that's been filled by "something" Which is up to you to find out who or what that "something" is. Don't expect many new treasures in the MOD because you looted most of it in your previous visit. There is a treasurechamber which will obviously contains valluable items. There is also a persisntant rumour of a new NPC. I've browsed throught the forum this mod has but the creators and the beta testers arent saying anything. This MOD isnt strickly fighting. The creators have a story to tell. There is over 70.000 words of dialogue implemented.
This is a Must have!"

Assuming this is a PC Zone outside the UK, I would appreciate it if someone could provide a scan of the article.

I don't have a scanner :( I don't know anyone with a scanner. I'll see what I can do. Maybe I can do it at a CopyShop.

There are plenty of scanners here at Uni. If I can get someone to help me, I could probably upload it. (I assume it's a dutch (at least in language) magazine, because of the mention of the Benelux?) Just tell me which issue it is and I'll look around.

Should people judge the mod's progressing upon the team's "reaction time" in the forum...
:D

Ever forward, my darling wind...
