Because I don't plan on working on this for two years and then putting it out for the world to see. I went ahead and released the first chapter and 1/2 of the second chapter so people can see what my plans are. I don't consider it complete like an NPC mod may be on first release. There are some mods that are considered complete when the person knows full well that only half or less of the mod is actually done.

Since this is a TC, you can't just continue playing the normal BG game once my part is done. In CA, once you get to the last part I have, you are done and would need to go ahead and uninstall (or play it again).

Think of this as a writer releasing the first chapter of a forth comming book to tease you with.

Edit: In addition, part of why I wanted it released to folks is in case anyone is interested in adding NPCs or other mini-mods into this new world. I am already working with one person who has tons of material for several NPCs. Others would be nice to have as well.

ClassicAdventuresv03.rar is the main file; Classics31.rar is just a patch. So, in short, download them both to play. You may want to pick up CROMWELL.BCS as well, since it was a late addition and will probably make it into the upcoming patch.

Patch .31 was originally posted here. TheWizard was kind enough to go place it on his sites as well. Since I didn't originally plan that, I had never updated the readme to explain all of this. It was only explained here.

Yes, the Cromwell update is in the next patch.

I've been away almost all august and the european mirror of The Wizard's server is gone. What happened? I dlded at over 200 kB/s from there, but <8 kB/s from the asian one...

iegmc.tiefighter.org will return, it just suffered a minor setback. I apologize for this. In the meantime, I would recommend either using a download manager/accelerator like NetAnts or using the FTP site for IEGMC Asia. Either or both of these options should yield better results.
