Who are your romance options in KOTOR2?

For male characters, I know that Handmaiden is one choice. For female Exiles, Disciple.

So, the question is: Who I can romance, and what I should do (just a general guideline) to start and finish the romance succesfully?

In time: Someone said that romances in KOTOR 2 are . My doubt is: MORE than Kotor 1? KOTOR 1 romances are just , compared to Baldur's Gate, for instance. (EVEN without mods like JCompton's Flirt pack to improve them).

The KotOR2 romances arent great If you play a male character you can also romance Visas, and females get Atton. The romances are all fairly easy as well - for handmaiden (and maybe disciple as well, I've only ever played male characters) you spar with her to develope the romance. Visas just involves some talking, however you have to decide between Visas and Handmaiden, the point where you choose is fairly plain to see. From what I remember neither romance is particularly difficult to progress, nor are they particularly rewarding.
Im not sure about the female romance options, someone else will be able to say though, Im sure.

When I romanced Atton, I thought I had said something wrong, as it never developed into a real romance, he just stopped talking very early in the game. When I searched the official forum, I found out that most of the content was cut, so the few sentences I saw was actually all that is left... I don't think it deserves to be called a "romance" at all.

You know, LucasArts really made a BIG mistake (I mean it!!!) when they gave KOTOR 2 to Obsidian instead of Bioware.

By the other hand, There seems to be so much cut material, scenes, dialogues, isn't it? Anyone here knows if Obsidians has any intention of finish these parts to present then in a patch? (conformed explanation: This may be wishful thinking on my part, Master.)

So I must choose between Visas and Handmaiden? hmmm... (sinful tought )

Ah, yes, I forgot that KOTOR romances are cold... ....

Someone out there could convince the voice actors to help JCompton make a KOTOR flirt pack? B)

Indeed, Mira is the most... gorgeous... girl in KOTOR 2. Yes, a pity that you cannot romance her (even MORE sinful thoughts aboard! )

I'm not involved in the mod project at all...

there is a project to work on restoring the cut parts, but it seems to have...dropped...i really don't know what is happening with the restoration project.

Maybe too much work, and too little community support? Its a shame actually but anyway, I've stopped playing KOTOR2. I still love the game though.

You know something I would like to see?

Npc's romances, akin to Baldur's Gate 2 with Aerie and Haer'Dalis.

I think that would be interesting to watch the evolution of a relationship between 2 non-romanceable characters.
Of course it should be a way to inlfuence the outcome.

For example, I think that Atton and Mira would be a VERY interesting pair.

The possilbilities are many. Hope that something like this comes up in Kotor 3.

I agree, but I dont think it would be a very viable option in KotOR, simply because you only have two companions with you at any one time - the time needed to develop a decent relationship between them would mean you'd have to have those two with you...

Indeed. Altough this could be used to a better effect. For example, only after you land on Korriban you realize that you left behind in Nar Shadaa that couple you did'nt use.
