Good news! I have uploaded the latest version of SoBH, version 2.0, and it is now on the mirrors from TheWizard. Hopefully BlackWyrm will have it soon as well.

What is different?

This one download contains both the BGT-Weidu version and the Tutu version. For now on, I will try to keep all updates current on both mods so there isn't a version difference anymore.

The Tutu version uses Yacomo's Worldmap, therefore that mod is required if you are installing BH on Tutu. Install it after BH, though it shouldn't really matter when.

If posting bug reports, please state which environment (BGT or Tutu) that you have. This mod will not work with BGT-BP. Hopefully, it will work with the Weidu versions of these two mods once they are both available.

Thx for the great job, SBB, superb role-playing experience, as always with ur mods.
One small question:
Is there any other improvement besides the "version grand unification"?

Thanks again, Sir Kill.

Is there any other improvement besides the "version grand unification"?

The main update would be on the Tutu side because I haven't been updating that version. So it now has all the updates that the BGT version has had for the past few months.

There are no new areas, quests or anything. I have only been working on cleaning up some journal entries, closing quests, and a few dialogs. Right now I need to wait for the Russian translation to match up. Then I will release a 2.1 patch (small patch) that will give you two languages. Hopefully, German will follow.

Any additional parts to the mod would be if someone sees a serious gap in the storyline (which is possible). At this point, I "think" the mod is complete. I could be wrong.

Thanks, by the way, you had a discussion with someone about how to tell if the game was Tutu or not, simple, just look for a Tutu bif file. Forget about the override folder, you always run the risk of someone being too damn smart and biffing the file you are looking for. But if the remove a needed bif, the game won't work anyway. So I do this for BGT and Tutu.

Sir BillyBob, I have a question for you.
Why don't you biff SoBH data like it is done in any other big mod?

Because I haven't gotten around to it. Also, this only seems to be an issue for the BGT folk. There is little talk about this in the Tutu community. (because they have less big mods!!! ^_^ )

Sir Billybob I have to ask: Is tSoBH compatible with the weidu monster (SoS, TDD, CtB etc.)? If yes, can I assume all Weidu-mods are?

Yes it is compatible.
Right now I have really BIG installation with SoBH, DTotSC, NTotSC and already has completed the first part of BH.

A request for Sir BillyBob: Can you please create a SoBH-biff.bat file just like one you've made for DSotSC/NTotSC?

But in the readme's it says that DTotSC and NTotSC only are compatible with BGT. Weird. Anyway, so I can play this pack together: SoBH, DTotSC, NTotSC, BGT, SoS, TDD, TS and CtB?

Thank you.

Too funny, I was coming to look for/request this too. :D

I have the crude groundwork for headerless .tis files already done. I biffed it last night (I don't have a complete bat, did it the old fashioned way in command line), as I want everything going in before BP-weiduv170a to be biffed up. Saves needless confusion while I'm working. I'll be happy to share what little I have towards this goal.

Sounds great. I haven't gotten around this this because a few Tutu players are still finding weird little bugs. I was hoping they found everything within the next few weeks so I can release a biff. I guess it wouldn't hurt if you go ahead and biff without whatever Band-Aid I need to create.

Sure; we'll file your bandaid(s) at the same spot that we currently apply KD's. I even saved the NeJ2 patch to put in at this point. (Biffed the core up at the start, first mod in.)

I make a backup of .tlk and .key beforehand, and stow all the patches in the same biff. If a new patch comes out, I revert my setup back to prepatch and redo.

Not everybody would need to do all of this, but I have "special" needs. :D

I have just installed BH, on a mostly-clean override after DSotSC and NTotSC. Maybe I'll take a couple extra minutes, and scribble something up. ;)
