Why?

Shouldn't the voters be informed?

Why do they need to be informed? It's fairer to present the question in a neutral light, without context to potentially bias answers. (Okay, sure, I've posted it *in the Jerry Zinger forum* which isn't likely to get a 100% independent audience.)

I assume then that you are posting anonymously so as not to bias people's responses?

No, I'm posting anonymously because the Studios administration have, in their infinite wisdom, restricted the SimDing0 account's posting ability.

In which case Seifer's edit allows people to see your freely written opinions on the subject before they pass judgement.

You've yet to give me any reason why. I contend that it conflicts with the neutrality of the poll. What counter-argument are you presenting in favour of the context being provided?

And I'm pleased to see that Shed's not interested in facing up to the result either. Really, guys, is it such a painful question?

Perhaps you should have asked what you would rather SConrad worked on in the future. That question, at least, has some kind of point ;).

Sim, the very nature of the poll is not neutral. The poll relates directly to your opinion of Jerry Zinger and therefore people have a right to know what that opinion is.

At the end of the day, how SConrad decides to spend his modding time is up to him. If you don't like how he spends it, you have the right to disagree.

I'm sure if he Sconrad needs help deciding how he should spend his time, he's more than capable of posting his own poll.

This doesn't impact on the neutrality of the poll.

Neither does this.

Nor this.

Would you like a bite of my apple?

A harmless neutral question! A yes or no answer, what harm could it do?

If your name is Adam and you're in the Garden of Eden, then kiss Paradise goodbye.

Here endeth the Lesson in Context.

God did not start a forum poll.

Actually, if we get right down to it, God didn't ask the question to Adam - Eve did. Some people would argue she was influenced by the snake (who represents Satan in some theories - but that's another story) at the time of the crime.

There has, of course, been extensive debate about God's involvement as all-knowing and omnipresent, but He has yet to intrude upon the free will. Looking at the literal Biblical view, He didn't particulary like it - but that (as lots of other things in the Bible) contradicts itself.

(I could dwell on the subject for some time, if anyone is interested.)
