Hi,

i currently have bp16 installed on my laptop with a few completely compatible mods. now i want to move the game over to my pc. is it possible to just copy the entire bg2 root folder over and start playing, or do have to do a complete install from the beginning (please god no!)?

you can simply copy it over, but you have to change the baldur.ini

It might be a good idea to do a normal full SOA and TOB install first, then just overwrite it all with your game files from the laptop, this way all the windows registry info is correct.

you dont need the registry stuff.
simply start BGMain.exe thats it.
