v2 is almost ready. Most of the mistakes in installing the .baf files were my fault (imagine that). One of them was named a .bcs file for starters.

Heh.

Then when testing it only one of the items would show. They had the same global. Changed one's global a little and now they both launch.

The only tiny problem left is the readme is not firing.

My last line of code in the .tp2 is:

BEGIN ~Install Alternate Vesine Portrait (TDD)~
COPY ~MTS/Vesine~ ~override~

AT_INTERACTIVE_EXIT ~VIEW MTS/readme.txt~

The readme is named "readme.txt" and it is in the directory MTS, not in a subfolder.

I need an emoticon with a smiley holding up a "help" sign.

*Edit* I added the line before the last to show it was spaced properly.

the only difference I can see between yours and the one above is that you have a / and the one above has a \

1. It doesn't make any difference.

2. Always use / instead of \.

I sorted it out on my end, finally. :D

V2 is up, you can find the info on the two new crappy components on the first page (I edited the post).

Both can be found on both of my crappy download servers. As requested, I will PM The Wizard about me getting my own folder on his kick-ass sites.

Very cool. :D
Do you take suggestions, MTS? I have some more components in mind that would fit in with your pack. ^_^

Oh, and...

7. Add Scroll of Mike Summoning to Irenicus' Dungeon

Basically this is a scroll that will let you summon the NPC "Mike" by Leutian. I would imagine that Mike needs to be installed first. Mike is a true neutral trueclass fighter. He does not have much of any dialogue, but if nothing else he is an extra person to help carry things out of the dungeon. If you don't want that, you can always loot him and kick him (He does come with a few magic items). The scroll is copied from the "Summon Bhaalspawn" mod's idea of adding a NPC. I decided to create this component because I think the CLUA Console breaks the fourth wall in it's own special way.

Leutian's download page can be found here - http://www.ocimail.com/por/Leutian/

I can't figure out where to download Mike.

By Joe, renaming it to Mike.exe really does work. Odd way to save a file on a website.

Oh, MTS, before I forget, I spotted some minor errors:

BEGIN ~Install Ariena without Kiddo (Must be Installed before Ariena)~

Kiddo --> Kido

BEGIN ~Install BG2 Monatron Portrait by Plasmocat (TDD)~

Monatron --> Montaron

Sorry to be such a nag. ;)
Oh, and the readme.txt doesn't start after installation. On my systems, the readme has the .txt.txt extension. In fact, your PC conversions of Summon Bhaalspawn and Alex Macintosh both had the WeiDU setup file with the .exe.exe extension.

it happens to me too. I had to delete the summon bhaalspawn.exe and rename the weidu.exe to sbs.exe to get it to install. small price to pay though.

I just removed the extra .exe and ran the setup again. Note that if you accidentally started the double extension one, it creates a double extension .DEBUG file as well, so delete that one too.

Component suggestions:

Remove first cutscene (by NiGHTMARE?), from the Imoen The Bard mod.

Shapeshifting Fix, from the Refinements mod. The reason is because I don't use the HLA edits and such, but I always use the shapeshifting fix. I'm not very fond of filling my override folder an, in my view, "heavy" mod as Refinements, only to fix my shapeshifters.

Romance Friendly Imprisonment by Galactygon, from Victor's BGII Improvements Mod. Another component I'm very very fond of. :)

Original Romance Bugfixes, Grandmastery Fix and Collector's Edition Bonus Merchants by various, from the Ease-Of-Use mod.

Alternate GUI for BGII by Vlad, from his Tortured Souls mod. As with Refinements, I'm very fond of this component, but I'd rather not fill my override folder with TS. (Not that I'm not fond of TS, oh no.. :D )

Alternate portrait for Dynaheir, Kachiko and Coran for Tortured Souls. - Simply put, I don't like Kachiko's portrait at all. Final Fantasy players like me will constantly think "Lulu" instead of Kachiko.

Hmm... The bugs are odd. I checked the files from the folder I uploaded and they are all named correctly. Did both of you download it from The Wizard? I had odd errors trying to upload it with cute FTP. The first timed out, then it would not let me delete the file, and after some work, let me continue with the upload. Might have fubared it that way.

Thank you for pointing out the typos. I'll fix them right away.

Seems we like alot of the same components, Moongaze. Sadly, all but the last one I won't add. Those are in weidu allready, and in well loved mods. The last one, I'm taking suggestions as always. For Coran and Dynaheir, I might just use Xenobia's edits (unless SisterSinister does one of them, then I would be torn). For Kachiko, I think I have something more asian in mind. Guess if nothing else I use a pic from Divine Treasures for Dynaheir usually. I could always add it.

Also, work has begun on another ONG SEKRIT compnent.

Hlid, SConrad, be prepared for questions.

Heh.

No, but I just checked, and the ones at IEGMC have the same double extension error. On my system, anyway.

Lol...2000+ MB file to download.

Anyway.

Thanks, MTS. You're right, 'twas foolish of me to suggest all the above (except Kachiko's portrait).
Well, since you already have some tweaks for Shadows over Soubar, may I present something?

I had some trouble installing SimDing0's Tweak pack, which I'm very fond of, while having SoS installed first. ronin69hof gave a solution to this problem in the following thread:

http://www.shsforums...showtopic=17879

I've packaged the necessary edited files for both d0tweaks and d0quest. (It's only one line that had to be changed in all files, but oh well. I like patches for convenience.) I wouldn't recommend installing this without having SoS installed.

Furthermore, d0tweaks and d0quest are © SimDing0. I take *no* credit.

I have it attached to this post...I hope....if you're interested, of course.

A similar thing happened when installing Kelsey SoA portion. Again, I've made an SoS compatible patch using ronin69hof's suggestion and Kelsey SoA's .DEBUG file. I don't recommend installing this without having SoS installed first.

Kelsey is © jcompton. I take *no* credit.

Attaching it...

Strangely enough, the rest of the mods I tried were fine, though I'm sure there are some other mods that make use of WIZARD_TRUE_DISPEL_MAGIC.

No problem. It happens. ^_^

Oh, despite the filenames, I've found the same applies to TDD. So these patches are for use with both TDD and SOS. ;) Not really surprising, huh?

@Moonie

I'll certianlly add them. Thanks for doing all the work, heh.

I do wonder, you mentioned that you do not wish to be credited? My only issue with that is that The PPG Modlist links to this forum, so people will see you did them anyway?

-------------------------------------------------

I was considering breaking this mod up into 2-3 seperate mods. I think it is kinda lame how some of the components have to be installed before anything else, then some of them have to be installed after everything else, then some depend on big mods that about half the people hate.

Think this would be a good idea? Got a few new bits, so a new release (or releases) should not be more then one week or so.

-------------------------------------------------

@ Hlid and SConrad - Look! I actually got a new component to work on my own!

I only edited a few files to make Kelsey SoA, d0tweaks and d0quest compatible with SoS/TDD, for the convenience of the players. I don't mind taking credit for that. I won't, however, take credit for the *creation* of those three mods. I had nothing to do with their creation and development at all.
