I'm stuck in dungeon at Firewine ruins (please look at screenshot). The door-ladder just won't open to me. What am I doing wrong?

And need another spoiler. There was a guy in forest west of Nashkel Mines, who asked me to bring him a candle from house in Balgur's Gate city. Where is this house located? I've read entire game journal, but found no link to this quest there.

Download Patch 1.41
You need Flaming Oil to get tto the lower level of Firewine Ruins and.
About the guy - you will find a cangle in Bladurs Gate in one of the house IF YOU HAVE 1.41 installed

lol ... i guess i've never played that dungeon
Where is in the firewine ruin? I do remember the dungeon that take to the commandos kobold from Gullikin but is there another entrance?

There is another entrance when you finish the quest where you helped some researcher enter the ancient village you get a scroll which grants you entrance to some ruins in firewine area. Then the entrance opens(it`s not detectable if you don`t have the scroll)

I do remember i had the scroll from Sit Charlestone but i don't think i've ever noticed the new entrance ... where is located?

Its ARA020 if you want to CLUA yourself there. I don`t actually remember in wchich part of Baldurs Gate was the house situated...

please tell where flaming oil can be obtained.
The house where candle is resided is righ above red multilevel Tower of mage, who asked to bring him dryad from another mage. I forgot names of both

I've found this oil on the 2nd level of dungeon.

You cannot get out. I had the same problem. BIllyBob says it's a glitch in the game. Just clua yourself upstairs by warping.I'm stuck in dungeon at Firewine ruins (please look at screenshot). The door-ladder just won't open to me. What am I doing wrong?

If you had already been to an area before applying patch 1.41, you will not be able to open the doorway with the flaming oil. This "key" was flagged in the area file for opening the door. ARE (area) files are stored in your saved games and don't get updated with patches. Therefore, you either have to use a previous saved game (one that doesn't have this area yet), or do as suggested and jump to the next area with CLUA.
