A quick search on the forums didn't turn anything up, but I'm pretty sure the answer to this one is easy. The question is this: in our nifty, modern-day WeidU/BiggDU installations, does anything modify the Windows Registry?

A second question is sort of related: Once the install process is complete, what does one need to keep hanging around in the game folder?

I think the answers to these are...

A/ No (checking a couple of TP2's turned up nothing but copies to the Override folder, and some scripting).

B/ Nothing but the Override folder.

Can someone confirm this?

A. No.
B. The backup folder and tp2 for a mod is essential, and it's a good idea to keep the rest. If you need to re-install a mod, WeiDU may need to re-install others (based on install order). Funk can result otherwise.

Why is this Hypnotoad video so popu... ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.
