Hey Alandrea :P. I'm glad that you posted it here. I think I remember reading it somewhere else, and I enjoyed it then as I do now. The reflections and memories in there shape out really well. :)

(Plus, this time my eyes didn't bleed :P)

Through lightning, travel shadow,
Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love

***

And in the end a witness,
To where the death has lain,
Silent through the sorrow,
Where innocents lie slain

I liked it too :) It was a nice recollection of small pieces of past history, it had the feeling that the narrator was really telling us tales of her youth by the fire side. Really liked it :)
"I set on this journey trying to understand why has metal been stereotyped, dismissed, and condemned. My answer is this: if, listening to that music, you don't get that overwhelming rush of power that makes the hair stand at the back of your neck, you may never will. But you know what, it doesn't really matter. Because, judging from the 40 000 people around me, we're doing just fine without ya." :) Cheers! And two horns up for metalheads all around the world!

Shadowhawke, I?m really glad you liked it. I?ve posted the ?condensed? version here long ago and also on fanfiction.net so you?ve probably seen it on one of them, and I?m very pleased that your eyes didn?t bleed.

DalreïDal, thank you, that?s exactly what I was going for.
