(I'd really appreciate it if someone that knows his way around could read this trough, if it all works I'll compile it into a better installation guide for the forums)


Little edit, search seems to work a bit again, apparantly some people assume BD is baldurash, let's see.


What is this mysterious 'BD-WeiDU 1.5 or G3 Fixpack' the installation guide keeps talking about? I cannot find it anywhere?!

(And these forums seem to not work at all >.< Keep getting white screens (Search was offline too)

The pinned installation guide has not been very helpful at all, it's all very mysterious towards just what you need to grab, getting hopeless here and may just resort to installing the old bp-bgt >.<

0) Full BGII SOA+TOB+26498_patch (and BG1+ToTSC+5512_patch if installing BGT) [Done]
1) BD-WeiDU 1.5 or G3 Fixpack [Baldurdash-WeiDU v1.5.rar]
2) NEJ2v42 + NEJ2v602 patch, and NEJ2 biffer if using BP-weidu (but see *note) [NeJ2v42b.exe, NeJ2v602.exe, NeJ2Biffer_v3.rar]
3) SoS v1.10/TDD v1.10/CtB v1.7 - in any order (but note: NEJ2 and CtB are not compatible atm: choose one or the other) [SoSv1.10.rar, TDDv1.10.rar]
4) TS-BP v6.04.01 [TS-BPv6.04.01.rar]
5) BGT-WeiDU v1.00, and NeJ2-BGT compat patch if using both NEJ2 and BGT [BGT100-Install.rar, BP-NeJv12.rar]
6) Install ANY other mods you want here (hope they're truly WeiDU and don't ruin anything).
7) BP v176 [BPv176.rar]
G3 Tweaks and/or Virtue (for best results) [G3Tweaks-v18.exe]
9) Worldmap, latest version [BP-BGT Worldmap v5.rar]
10) If you want you may activate preferable GUI at this point - just run Setup-GUI.

Current installation gaps:

- I have no idea what this BD-WeiDU is.
- I have no idea what this NEJ2 biffer is.
- It's a bit vague: Are we installing non-WeiDU and WeiDU mods here?

The baldurash fixpack is bugging out on me:

Never mind that, it seems that my backup is unpatched >.<

(I made a full backup of all installation directories before going into this madness, having played the old BGT and such, so I can simply delete and copy - Have done so already for 6 times or so )

Ehhh, once agian: "I f**ked up my installation and now something doesn't work"....

SPMDSLAY.SPL is a ToB file that should be present in your \override\ of a clear ToB installation. If you don't have one = you've ruined your installation. Make it all over again, starting from SoA+ToB+offic. patch installation.

All of you, dedicated BG players, can expect the following things to be released before the end of May (I hope wink.gif):

1) WeiDU v193 - a key component for 2) tongue.gif
2) Brand new Worldmap v6 - an absolute user/modder friendly version
3) Region of Terror v2.0 - WeiDU version, fully compatible with all 'BP-family' mods
4) Updated SoS, TDD, CtB with a support of the new Worldmap and RoT compatibility (+ some other adjustments)
5) Updated DSotSC, NTotSC - WM v6, autobiffer, a load of fixes.
6) As far as BGT v1.01 is planned for release in the late June, I'll release an updated TP2 for BGT v1.00 with WM v6 support.

what KD means is that he can't release stuff until weidu 193 came out - and then, the new releases will be packaged with weidu 193. so as long as you download SOS 1.10, or TSP-BP 6.04.02 or whatever, you'll automatically get weidu 193. you dont need to do anything other than download the new versions.

I've made some tricks for the installation scripts that work with current v192.
And of course, every released mod package is complete by itself and doesn't require anything beside its own.
