For any who are interested:

Druid Circle entry trap is disabled and access granted by having "Ring from the Grave" and the "Rusted Dagger" in your possession. You don't need to put in in any alter, or do anything funky. You just need to have them. There is no "Guardian Stone" you need.

Orc Chieftain Tomb in the Field of the Dead is opened by having "Holy Symbol of Helm" in your possession. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'll update the Walkthrough

ehm. this wasn't the case for me. i swear i had to place the dwarven stone and the glove of helm on the altar in the druid's circle. without doing this, there was no entrance/exit, just a questionmark cursor and i got shot when clicking it. with placing the two above on the altar it became a stairs symbol and i could enter. at this point i did NOT have the ring and the dagger in my inventory - i had them dropped along with some dwarven stones to bruteforce-test what i need to do there.

case two i can't comment on since just having it in inventory is vague to verify for me as i had all 3 of those you mention.

Are you running WMv6 NTotSC version of the game?

I was just wondering if you had an older version of NTotSC installed and if that might be the cause for a difference in keys or something, because I can guarantee you, with the NTotSC4BGTv145WeiDUWMv6 if you approach the Druid Circle with the Ring from the Grave, and the Rusted Dagger and run your cursor over the entrance you will see stairs, and not a ?. Drop either/both on the ground in front of you and run the cursor over the entrance and the ? returns. Pick them up one at a time if you want and the ? remains until you pick up the 2nd one, and the stairs will re-appear.

Same thing for Ghotal's Tomb. Before you open it, set the Symbol of Helm on the ground and try to open/unlock the Tomb. It won't work. Pick the Symbol of Helm back up and click on the entrance and it unlocks.

The keys have never changed, erebusant is correct. These has always been the correct keys for these doorways.

I know I'm performing thread necromancy on an epic scale here but I'm coming back to the Fields of the Dead quest line after having cleared these maps many months ago.  There is pretty much no way I'm going to find the ring and dagger (though the dagger might be on the altar IIRC) on the loot remains of the corpses I have scattered across the three or four maps involved here.

Does anyone have the item codes for the ring and the dagger necessary to unlock the druid ring?  Or can you at least provide the exact item names so I can look up the item codes in ShadowKeeper?

Thanks in advance!

Lol you can disregard my prior post.  Looking up-thread to erebusant's earlier post I now realize he did provide the exact names of the necessary items:  'Rusted Dagger' and 'Ring from the Grave'.
