What do you think of this (see attached file)?

I have the portal key (the yellow one) from the mistress' room, and I've been in every room on level one. I remeber playing several times before, I've never had this problem...
Is the key fubared, somehow...?

You have Never Ending Journey installed. You cannot proceed with this portal now. Go back and find another similar portal in the dungeon. But don't expect it to take you to level 2.

Yes, I know of the portal that takes me to IWD. I've played NEJ before, about a year ago (not the new version, though...).
But surely I'm supposed to get Yoshimo and Kachiko with me, if I want to...???
IIRC, I was able to finish the whole dungeon, all the way to the exit and get Kachiko, before returning to the NEJ portal.

Has this been changed in the new version?

P.S. Actually I tried (lacking other options) to enter the NEJ portal just now, but a message stated that I should explore the whole dungeon before proceeding. Does this mean just level one?

It just tells you to explrore the whole dungeon, you should be able to click on the portal again and go thru to IWD.

Okay, thanks.
I went through and am on my way to Kuldahar soon.
I was just worried that there was something wrong and that I'd be unable to get Yoshimo and Kachiko, and thus hosing my TS part...!
I must say, there's been a LOT of improvements since last time. Excellent work!
