Humm .. this might seem stupid but how do I install it?
tp2 files are for weidu installations ...
What installation do I use?

the installation order guide said as step 9 :

9) Worldmap, latest version

I've downloaded the tp2 file .. but which setup do I use?

I've read from another post something about the BDv.15 or G3 fixpack ..
Is G3 the gibberling fixpack?

If so, how do I overwrite the tp2 worldmap file.

I'm somewhat lost in this matter.
Help would be appreciated.

You have to download the complete package which has been updated with all the fixes, located here: http://america.iegmc.net/worldmap/ once you do that just extract the entire package to your BG2 directory and then double click on the setup. There are two packages at G3 that might cause confusion, G3tweak pack and G3 fixpack. The G3 fixpack and BD-weidu do the same thing. The G3fixpack is still in beta but its a really good beta. If you prefer the BD-weidu then use the new 1.6 version by Vlad located here: http://america.iegmc...ldurdash-weidu/

hope that helps

The last few messages there clearly indicate that you should RE-DOWNLOAD WMv6.3 package from any of the mirrors even if you have it downloaded prior to 11-08-2006.

I think the problem lies with the fact that there is a seperate "Setup - BGT - BP - Worldmap.rar" on the IEGMC America mirror site at the very least that has a replacement .tp2 file that references "Setup.tra" instead of "Worldmap.tra" during it's parsing, so it errors out. I had the same issue where I could download the new Worldmap and extract it and it would run fine. As soon as I replaced the .tp2 I would get the fatal parsing error.

My understanding is the replacement Worldmap.tp2 is to be used if you have the G3 fixpack installed. All that is needed to use it is extract the .tp2 and overwrite the .tp2 that comes with the main package, then open the .tp2 with notepad or wordpad and right at the very beginning where it references setup.tra in the English and German language section, replace the word "Setup" with the word "Worldmap". close the .tp2 and save changes and the Worldmap will run fine.

ok, this has over-complicated things.

If i download the new allsinging alldancing Corrected WM6.3 RIGHT NOW from the america mirror, will the tp2 thats shipped with it be compatible with the fixpack?

My thought exactly. I'd really appreciate an answer to this question, because I'm starting a new mod build forthwith, and was thinking of using the fixpack this time (instead of BD).
