I'm getting some weird errors when I try to install RTT on my Mac.

After putting the files in my BG2 folder I ran the setup command file and got this:
/BGII\ -\ SoA/Setup-RTTMac.command; exit
Welcome to Darwin!
adsl-75-34-13-34:~ jasonlong$ /BGII\ -\ SoA/Setup-RTTMac.command; exit
: No such file or directorymmand: line 2: cd: /BGII - SoA
: No such file or directorymmand: line 3: ./Setup-RTTMac

Then since I'm actually moderately familiar with installing BG mods via the command line I ran it manually:
adsl-75-34-13-34:/BGII - SoA jasonlong$ ./setup-rttmac
[./setup-rttmac] WeiDU version 192
[On this architecture, WeiDU does not auto-update.
You must ensure that you have the most recent version.]
[./setup-rttmac] Using scripting style "BG"

0
Using Language [English]
ERROR: No translation provided for @1000000
ERROR: problem parsing TP file [SETUP-RTTMAC.TP2]: Not_found

FATAL ERROR: Not_found

As far as I can tell the install isn't finding the .tp2 file even though it's in the same directory. WTF?

Most likely the same problem you have had with other mods; they are not compatible with Macs. King Diamond already offered you two choices, and I will offer you one more: get a PC. It's worth it to play all these BG1 and BG2 mods. ;) Or, at the very least, install Windows XP on your Mac. Hmmmm...has anyone tried playing BG on their Mac running XP? If it works...cool! :D

Hmm, the author specifically included an installer for Macs. Slightly different case than the BP mods, n'est-ce pas?

the fact is I never tested the mac installation because I had no mac!

I just followed the instructions of a tutorial I found.

could you try to rename the .tp2? I mean, from Setup-RTTMac.tp2 to SETUP-RTTMAC.TP2.

your help to fix the mac setup would be really appreciated. :)

There you have it then. Although, I am still interested in the XP on a Mac + BG experiment. Any volunteers? :)

I tried going to the directory first

cd '../../BGII - SoA'

And then run the install from there

./setup-rttmac

I did rename Setup-RTTMac.tp2 to SETUP-RTTMAC.TP2, though. I realise it's 6 years later, but you never know who's still playing this ^_^
I'm running os 10.6.8, if that helps.

The only weird thing is, it asks me to install everything twice. runs fine though!

By the way, BGII on XP or Windows 7 does work, but not fast enough to suit me :)
