Getting the following errors when installing BP after BG2 Fixpack and TDD:

The DEMNAB scripts that didn't get modified will effect certain Nabassu behavior in various areas. AR1002 script will effect yout Tolgerias encounter in Planar Sphere, AR2601 will effect your Drizzt encounter upon leaving the Underdark. You can fix these manually by using Near Infinity and looking through the BP177 tp2 to find the specific files that are effected.

I plan on installing more 'small' mods before BP, but want to make sure the game starts alright with the 'mega' mods installed (was having problems with game hanging earlier). Since my first post I've installed SoS and CtB. On installation of BP I now also get the warning:

Are you familiar with using NI? The fist error shouldn't be an issue, other than the item will only show in inventory instead of being equiped by that creature.

can't you use simply copy, install, copy, install, copy, install... ?


it's a serious question - i don't know maybe some of the first mods are supposed to overwrite some of the files of the other mods and that's why they should be copied all at once before installation

anyway, i've always used the copy, install, copy, install... procedure

Hey all, I've done 3 installs in the last 24hrs trying to get a working mega going, my problem comes up quickly as in the first area after candlekeep when Imoen shows up. I take her and we go to gorions body, she's suppose to have a dialog there and she doesn't. if I talk to her the game acts as though I just got back with her in the Bhodi dungeon in BG2 and she immediately gets 350000 xp's for a quest completion lol. This is the install log from this mess. Any help would be appreciated

Are you absolutely sure that you did not have a game disc in any of your CD/DVD drives when you installed BGT?

If you do a total, top-o'-the-list reinstall of all mods, I recommend you also do a totally refresh of your BG2/ToB standard installation. There are stickies and other posts that explain how to do this manually yet much quicker than using discs.

Ok just started another game with a COMPLETELY fresh install of everything by the book exact same results, no Imoen dialogs and the instant jump to level 11 due to the 350000xp's she gets for "rejoining" me in Bhodies area I played thru until I met up with Jahera and Khalid, she didn't banter with Elminster when he makes his first appearance nor did she pipe up about "Auntie Jahera" when we got to the Friendly Arm, she didn't pick up the spell book and start goofing with it when we killed the wizard/assasin Tranzig I believe his name is, on the steps of the friendly arm either I'm at a loss myself ........ heres the Weidu Log from this install ........ Oh and Gorions body did NOT have a scroll case nor gem bag on it as per usual either.... only a couple of minor changes in this log from last but I'll post it anyway

I know this worked with the old versions and I think it should with the current one well, I don't see anything else that I don't install that changes imoen. You are puting it after BG1NPC, might overwrite???



You might uninstall it and install again just before starting BG2.

I suppose I should have clarified this earlier, the reason for the all out reinstall was the stutter bug found my game and brought it to a screeching halt. This is the Weidu log from that install. you'll notice that the Imoen - Nalia romances and all the rest are there in this and it played fine until the stutter started, I had the idea that the stutter might have been caused by the BG1NPC Phase II piece, in researching the stutter I also came upon the fact that a few of the mods I was using were out of date and got the newest versions. I replaced Keto with Amber and dropped a couple of the smaller peices when I started the new install, as of this point I haven't gotten anything to work lol of course Imoen is lovin the instant level 11 but I don't think I'd care to try to continue on just to see what happens later, if Imoen thinks she's in BG2 and when then actually go to BG2 ......... picture me shuddering lol Hmm I just notice that the install that was working except for the stutter was with BGT 102f and all the new ones are BGT 104 rut roh astro

I suppose I should have clarified this earlier, the reason for the all out reinstall was the stutter bug found my game and brought it to a screeching halt. This is the Weidu log from that install. you'll notice that the Imoen - Nalia romances and all the rest are there in this and it played fine until the stutter started, I had the idea that the stutter might have been caused by the BG1NPC Phase II piece, in researching the stutter I also came upon the fact that a few of the mods I was using were out of date and got the newest versions. I replaced Keto with Amber and dropped a couple of the smaller peices when I started the new install, as of this point I haven't gotten anything to work lol of course Imoen is lovin the instant level 11 but I don't think I'd care to try to continue on just to see what happens later, if Imoen thinks she's in BG2 and when then actually go to BG2 ......... picture me shuddering lol Hmm I just notice that the install that was working except for the stutter was with BGT 102f and all the new ones are BGT 104 rut roh astro

Your base order of install is basically the same as mine up through G3 anniversary mod. After that you depart from what I usually install, so I couldn't comment as to what or what doesn't cause your issue.

I'd recommend once again, start with a completely fresh BGII-SoA install in a new folder, then install your mega-mod up to this point and start a new game to verify it begins properly, then start adding the mods you want to install 1 or 3 at a time, and then testing a new game until you get to the point where it breaks, and you'll have your culprit.

Ok I found my answer here, it is a BGT104 compatability issue with Imoen romance. The relavent topic is http://www.shsforums...showtopic=19539 it seems 104 busts Imoen all to peices lol so she can ONLY be installed AFTER the end of BG1 and the transistion to BG2 takes place oh well back the reloading

2.14 is built with v195. You need to place the current version of WeiDU.exe in the GBThfKp folder before install to keep from crashing. Had a typo in the 1st post. Fixed it. Thanks!
