I'm sorry to bring this up again ... seeing as how you did great on the last thread. The reason it's taken this long for me to post again is because I've been away at university without a games-playing computer.

I've tried the stickified BP-TOB fix ... no effect. Still stuck as before. Maybe Jesus is telling me I'm not meant to play TOB? :P But in the non-event of divine intervention, I'm assuming that if the fix didn't work, my only option is either
A. Do a complete reinstall with an edited version of the .tp2. An option which I'd prefer to leave as a last resort, understandably.
B. Decompile and recompile the appropriate scripts. Unfortunately, being the newb I am, I'm not sure which scripts I'm supposed to be editing in this instance.

I'm baffled as to why the fix didn't work for me. Weirdness.

[EDIT] Probably would help if I attached my trigger.ids and weidu log, and linked to the previous thread so you know what the hell I'm talking about. Geez, Christmas makes me dopey.

Sorry to bump this ... but is there no-one who knows what more I can do?

Maybe letting me know which script controls the Sarevok encounter specifically so I can look into it and see what's going wrong?

so you installed the trigger fix stickied here, and you've still got the problem? did you start a new TOB game, and clear the cache and temp folders too?

yr trigger.ids is now correct - so if yr still not getting thru the doors, it must be because the saved game data is still broken (as you'd expect it to be, hey). so try a new ToB game (after emptying the cache and temp folders) - it won't take you long to get to the first of the broken triggers - and see if you can get thru.

I just tried (had attempted starting a new game before, but not emptying the cache and temp folders) ... and still no joy. I don't get it. :(

then at this point i really am out of ideas short of a reinstall. you could try removing all the relevant files from yr override folder and reinstalling the fix, just in case you've altered them beyound recognition before the fix was released, and so it couldn't do it's business; but failing that, i reckon yr looking at a reinstall, sadly.

I did a reinstall ... it didn't work.

I'm disappointed that BP broke the game, since I found I didn't like the TDD quests much and SOS didn't even work for me (an issue which was never answered on the SOS forums). Feels like I've gone through all this for nothing.

Now I don't know what to do. I want to play my game but I can't play it without having BP installed, which doesn't work. I guess all I can do is see if I can import the characters into a new game without BP (which I don't need for TOB anyway) and play on. Disappointing, this.

Did you edit your BP TP2 file to get rid of the problem that it causes with the "WalkedToTrigger" before you installed it? If you did, and you still can't leave the pocket plane, you may have the issue that Horred came across where he uploaded a fresh .bcs file for that area that resolved a "can't leave pocket plane" problem. If you can find it, try that.

I just did a completely clean install. I edited the .tp2 file and removed the section which edits the WalkToTrigger. No changes to anything. After installation, the trigger.ids is perfect, as it should be. Yet ... it still doesn't work. I started a new game and everything, nothing from my previous games, a completely clean slate, and yet it's still broken. I know it's really not right to get frustrated with anything, given the huge amount of work you guys have put in to producing a product of excellent quality here ... but it's seriously hard not to, under these circumstances.

I searched around and found something about what you're talking about by horred ... but it seems to be for a seperate problem and he doesn't actually post a new .bcs.

What on earth do I do?

I just started a new TOB game, gave Sarevok his life back and completed the 1st challenge. Travel to Saradush and back to the Pocket Plane work fine. Give this ITPPLANE.bcs a try and see if it works for you. I'll attach my trigger.ids as well.

Tried both to no effect. The game still hangs when Sarevok says "Watch ...", at the point when the barrier to the first challenge is supposed to fall.

Out of desperation more than anything else, I've attached my Weidu log ... is there anything about my install which could possibly be causing this? My trigger.ids appears to be fine, but still the problem ...
