Movies are only unskippable the first time they're shown (and "the first time" thing will be reset each time you reinstall the game).

I find it annoying, too=). Right after installation, add these strings at the end of baldur.ini and you will be able to skip movie:

[MOVIES]
INTRO15F=1
BGINTRO=1
INTRO=1

I don't remember exactly which line matches the first intro, most likely "BGINTRO=1"
