Hello!

I was just wondering if helms can be contaminated by the iron poison just like iron weapons and armours.

If yes, is there anything more that can be contaminated and become rubbish ? Shields, perhaps ?

Thanks a lot!

Normal (non-magical) shields are already subject to shattering in BGT (helms are not).

In vanilla BG and Tutu, only non-magical weapons shatter. In vanilla BG, shattering only occurs when the party uses weapons AFAIK. BG2 Tweaks offers a component that makes helms, armor, and shields shatter in Tutu.

Why is this Hypnotoad video so popu... ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.

Thanks for your answer. Do you perhaps know if this is valid for the unmodded version of Baldur's Gate and EasyTuTu as well ?

Thanks guys! Just one (perhaps dumb) questions: when CamDawg says that "only Weapon shatters in EasyTuTu", he refers to metal weapons only, right ? :)

Yes, including halberds and spears in Tutu. They use metal for their important pointy bits. :) I can't remember if halberds and spears break in vanilla BG, tbh.

Maybe a mod that instead of destroying spears and halberds merely turns them into staffs when they break? ;)

Okay, realism overload I guess.

I thought the tip of the spear was stone.

It was metal by the copper age. You're about 5,000 years too late :P
